French for PR.
TEF Canada and TCF Canada prep · Starts January 2027
How French helps with Express Entry
- French at NCLC 7 or higher in all four skills adds points to your Express Entry ranking: 25, or 50 if your English is also CLB 5 or higher.
- Canada also holds invitation rounds only for French speakers at NCLC 7 or higher.
- These are the rules as of November 2026. Canada is consulting on changes for 2027, so check canada.ca before you plan.
The tests
- Canada accepts TEF Canada and TCF Canada. Both test reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- Results are valid for two years, and must still be valid when you apply for PR.
What we teach
- Preparation for TEF Canada and TCF Canada.
- Conversation and business French, so you can use it, not just pass a test.
- Classes mix nationalities, so French is the language you share.
We teach French. Immigration decisions are made by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). For advice on your case, see a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer.
